Mark P. Welding, O.D.

Dr. Welding is a board certified therapeutic optometrist and has over 10 years of experience in comprehensive eye care and laser vision correction. He has worked and trained under some of Texas and Americas premier refractive and cataract surgeons. Dr. Welding has been the Clinical and Executive Director for the largest provider of laser vision correction in the United States and Canada. He has obtained a wealth of knowledge and experience in primary eye care and laser vision correction during his professional career. Dr. Welding is currently the Clinical Director for Welding Eyecare and Laser Center where he is able to utilize his experience to provide pre and post-operative care and primary eye care.

An Iowa Native, Dr. Welding enjoys all types of sports, especially golf. He also enjoys spending time with his family. Dr. Welding is an active community volunteer and has served on several civic boards including the Flower Mound Rotary and Chamber. He currently serves on the Board for New Horizon Foster Ranch. Dr. Welding is a member of the Texas Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association. Dr. Welding believes he would not have achieved success over the past ten years without his loyal patient base and their confidence in him.

Anthony W. Evangelista, M.D.

A Minnesota native, Dr. Evangelista joined the prestigious Kleiman Evangelista Eye Center team in 1999. His philosophy of putting patients first is the same philosophy that the Kleiman Evangelista Eye Center was founded on.

Dr. Evangelista received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Microbiology and Biostatistics from the University of Minnesota, and a Medical Degree from the University of Minnesota Medical School. He completed his internship at the Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis, and his residency in Ophthalmology at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas.

Board Certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and the National Board of Medical Examiners, Dr. Evangelista is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, Texas Medical Association, American Medical Association and the Tarrant County Medical Association.

Dr. Evangelista is committed to providing the best treatment and medical care to his patients and specializes in LASIK (Laser Vision Correction); Crystalens, no-needle, no-stitch, no-patch cataract surgery; glaucoma surgery; corneal surgery; and pediatric and adult strabismus surgery.
